For young children, getting an x-ray can be a scary process. So as a long term sponsor of the Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, Disney wanted to see if they could help. We collaborated with Dr Aisling Snow and x-rayed six familiar, friendly faces from the Toy Story films – Buzz, Woodie, Jessie, Bullseye, Mr. Potato Head and Slinky – to reassure the children that it wasn’t such a scary process after all. We took real x-rays of the toys then reproduced them as large, permanent vinyl posters, shaped to fit empty wall spaces in the waiting area of the X-ray department.
