JFK Unsilenced
The Times wanted to push readers to its website while reaffirming its ‘Find your voice’ platform. So we digitally created the speech John F. Kennedy was supposed to deliver the day he was assassinated.
Using 831 audio recordings of JFK’s speeches, we digitally ‘reconstructed’ his voice, deploying AI technology to make it sound as natural as possible. Now the world can hear what JFK would have said the day he was killed.
The campaign was covered by news media in 59 countries worldwide, with an editorial reach of 1.1 billion people – an advertising value equivalent (AVE) of €9.8 million.
